To support the Forum’s digital transformation and maximize the impact of artificial intelligence across our multi-product ecosystem, we are seeking an experienced and visionary AI Solution Architecture Lead. This role is critical in bridging business vision and technical execution, ensuring that our AI solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with the Forum’s mission and long-term strategy. The Engineering team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the Forum’s digital platforms and products, enabling seamless engagement and knowledge sharing for our global community. As part of this team, your role will be to set the vision, draw the high level architecture principles and build an internal practice responsible for end-to-end AI solutions delivery.
Reporting Lines & Interactions
Part of the Forum IT Team, the AI Solution Architecture Lead reports to the Head of Engineering. You’ll be working closely with Product and Technology Platform Leads.
The successful candidate will be assessed on
• Provide technical leadership to a specialized team of consultants, guiding the design and implementation of robust applications and data flows across diverse platforms (Events, Knowledge, Staff Efficiency).
• Serve as the bridge between product management and engineering, ensuring technical decisions support product objectives and enhance user experience.
• Define and evolve the AI technical roadmap, aligning with long-term product vision and business strategy.
• Anticipate technical challenges, plan for scalability and performance, and design architectures that accommodate both immediate needs and strategic growth.
• Govern architectural decisions and technical standards, collaborating closely with platform leads, product teams, and engineering managers to drive alignment and adoption of best practices.
• Develop and maintain shared semantic models (ontologies) representing core business concepts, ensuring consistency and interoperability across data sources, APIs, and AI systems.
Formula for Success
• Advanced university degree in a technical or relevant field.
• Proven experience in end-to-end AI solution architecture across heterogeneous platforms (e.g., Salesforce, APIs/Microservices, Web, Mobile).
• Expertise in data integration, system interoperability, and semantic modelling/ontology design.
• Good knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and other vector database solutions.
• Strong track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, platform).
• Demonstrated ability to provide architectural governance and establish technical standards.
• Deep understanding of AI-driven solutions, including knowledge graphs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and intelligent agents.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
• Fluency in English, with excellent written, digital, and verbal communication skills.
