The salary rows cover World Bank staff grades. Short-term and extended-term consultant arrangements use separate terms. Other non-staff arrangements are also outside these bands.
Grade definitions
GE
At the World Bank, GE is an analyst-level World Bank Group grade for programme, technology, audit, or operational staff building professional experience. Source
Example titles: Program Analyst, Infrastructure Engineering Analyst, IT Audit Analyst
GF
At the World Bank, GF is a professional officer grade for staff managing defined financial, engineering, learning, real estate, or monitoring workstreams. Source
Example titles: Financial Officer, Project Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
GG
At the World Bank, GG is a senior professional grade for specialists and officers who lead complex sector, finance, safeguards, or operations assignments. Source
Example titles: Senior Financial Officer, Senior Irrigation Specialist, Senior Environmental Specialist
